📖 The Story of Indira Ekadashi
Indira Ekadashi falls during Pitru Paksha (fortnight of ancestors) making it extremely powerful for ancestral rites. The Brahmanda Purana tells of King Indrasena whose father was suffering in Yamaloka. A sage advised the king to observe Indira Ekadashi and donate its merit to his father. This immediately liberated his father, who ascended to Vishnuloka.
