📖 The Story of Parsva Ekadashi

Parsva means 'side' - on this day, Lord Vishnu turns from right to left side during His cosmic sleep. It's also called Parivartini (turning) Ekadashi. This day is also celebrated as Vamana Jayanti, the appearance day of Lord Vamana (dwarf incarnation). King Bali, despite being a demon, earned Lord Vishnu's grace through his charity and devotion, and the Lord promised to guard his kingdom.
