This Ekadashi falls in the spring month of Chaitra, marking a time of new beginnings. It's particularly auspicious for:
- Those seeking fulfillment of cherished desires

📖 The Story of Kamada Ekadashi
According to the Varaha Purana, there lived a Gandharva (celestial musician) named Lalit in the city of Ratnapura. He was married to a beautiful Apsara named Lalita, and they were deeply devoted to each other.
One day, while Lalit was singing in the court of King Pundarika, he became so absorbed in thoughts of his wife that he made mistakes in his performance. A sage present in the court cursed him to become a demon for this distraction.
Transformed into a fearsome Pishacha (demon), Lalit roamed the forests in agony. His devoted wife Lalita searched everywhere and finally consulted a sage who advised her to observe Kamada Ekadashi and transfer the merit to her husband.
💫 Lalita observed the fast with complete devotion, and by the power of Kamada Ekadashi, Lalit was freed from the curse. He regained his celestial form, more radiant than before, and the couple was reunited in divine bliss.
